Literature searches can be time consuming and require special skills (knowledge of search technology, databases, etc.). The library helps you with literature search on different levels. You may:
- Order systematic literature searches for research projects for a fee
- Request assistance from librarians to formulate and execute your own literature searches
Text and language
Unit for Academic Language and Practice offers several opportunities for language learning and practice. They offer several courses within the field of English for Academic Purposes, Norwegian language courses and different support to improve your written and oral language, etc.:
- Discuss or get input on your textwork

- Norwegian courses and other language offerings for employees
Publishing
The library helps you with inquiries about publishing, such as:
- Open access publishing
- Making your research available through OsloMet’s Open Digital Archive (ODA)
- Establishing and publishing open access journals @ OsloMet
- Publishing PhD theses in OsloMet’s Editorial Publishing Series
