DataverseNO
DataverseNO is a national repository for open research data. It is established and run by The Arctic University of Norway. OsloMet has its own institutional collection in DataverseNO where researchers can publish research data from all fields and disciplines. The University Library is responsible for the curation of the OsloMet collection.

Open research demands more sharing and reuse of research data. For researchers and projects with no other obvious archiving solutions, DataverseNO is a good alternative.
By archiving data in DataverseNO you are complying with requirements of openness and FAIR data use that is grounded in OsloMet’s Open Access policy: Policy for the Management of Research Data at OsloMet.

Which data can be made accessible
Data that is archived in DataverseNO must meet the following demands:
- Research data must be made accessible with no restrictions.
- One or more authors must be affiliated with a Norwegian institution.
- Documentation (meta data and README file) must be attached.
- The data set must be in a file format that is appropriate for archiving.
- The data set must not be of a bigger file size or storage volume than what is stated in the archive guidelines.

How to deposit data
OsloMet follows the guidelines and policy of DataverseNO. All data sets must pass a curator control before they are made accessible.
