Surveybanken
Surveybanken (sikt.no) is a national repository for survey data from Sikt – Norwegian Agency for Shared Services in Education and Research.
The development of the service is a collaborative project between Sikt and OsloMet. The solution facilitates an easy way to find, analyze, and visualize data from surveys within social science research. The data is produced by universities, colleges, research institutes, and major statistical producers after 1957. Norwegian information on how to use Surveybanken (sikt.no).

Brief history of Surveybanken
The service is the result of a collaboration between Sikt and OsloMet. It is a further development of the research data infrastructure from NSD, Norwegian Centre for Research Data, over several decades (NSD is now part of Sikt).
The starting point was an identified need among researchers at OsloMet to archive and make survey data available.
Project groups at OsloMet and Sikt have been working together since the start in 2020 to further develop the existing digital infrastructure for archiving, curation, and dissemination of social science research data.
