Alternative email address and employee profile
The e-mail address of employees who started at OsloMet in spring 2023 and later consists of digits and numbers. Now those who wish can also create an alternative address with their own first and last name.
You can order the changes on the employee pages under Edit profile. Here you can order an alternative e-mail address that contains your first and last name (forname.lastname@oslomet.no).
Activate employee profile
Some groups of employees connected to OsloMet must, after the introduction of Identity Access Management (IAM), actively request a visible employee profile on OsloMet's website, if they wish.
It applies to these groups:
PhD students who are not employed
PhD students associated with OsloMet who are not employed by the university do not automatically receive an employee profile on OsloMet's website. In consultation with the manager, visible employee profile on the websites can be created. They must then send an inquiry to local HR, who will activate the employee profile.
Hourly paid and external
Hourly paid employees and external affiliated research projects at OsloMet can also request visibility with an employee profile on OsloMet's website. They must then send an inquiry to local HR, who will activate the employee profile.
Centre for Senior Citizen Staff - with contract for paid work
Employees associated with the Centre for Senior Citizen Staff, who also have contracts for paid work at OsloMet, must contact HR shared services if they want a visible employee profile on OsloMet's website. Contact HR shared services: HR-fellestjenester@oslomet.no
Adjustments according to IAM
These adjustments are made after the introduction of Identity Access Management (IAM).
