Check the calendar of cultural events for a variety of happenings on campus every spring and autumn.

You can also join the Arts and Culture Association, the Photo Club or the choir, or take use of social channels at OsloMet to reach out to other employees if you want to share, swap or give away things.

  • Cultural events calendar

    This semester most of our cultural offers are held in Norwegian, but we also offers concerts and other events. Take a look at the Norwegian page for the full program.

    All events can eventually be found in our "What's happening" calendar.

  • OsloMeet

    The teams group OsloMeet is a forum for employees where you can post and receive cultural offers or invite to socialization such as exercising together or going for a walk. Search for OsloMeet in teams and join us!

  • Forum for international employees

    The Teams group "International Staff at OsloMet" is a forum for international employees and guest researchers where you can post and receive cultural offers, invite to socialization or get practical tips on housing and other things that will help you adjust to a life in Norway. Search for "International staff at OsloMet" in Teams and join us!

  • OsloMet Art and Culture Association

    As an employee or retiree at OsloMet you are welcome to become a member of the Art and Culture Association.

  • List of cultural offers

    As an employee at OsloMet you get access to a rich cultural offer. These are offered through the University's Cultural Calendar, which comes out every six months. The Cultural Calendar events mainly take place on the Campus Pilestredet or Campus Kjeller.

    In addition, you get a discount of tickets for selected concerts, theatre and opera performances in Oslo and Akershus. These offers are sent by email via the List of Cultural Offers. As an OsloMet employee you are automatically included in the List of Cultural Offers, but can also sign up via a link in the email. You can register yourself by sending an email to Bettina Grødem Knutsen.

  • OsloMetFlimmer

    OsloMetFlimmer is the film part of the Art and Cultural association's events. Every semester films are announced through the mailing list. The showings are often during daytime and usually lasts for up to one hour.

  • The company choir Bislettbekkens (u)blandede

    Bislettbekkens (u)blandede is OsloMet’s company choir.

  • The Photography Club

    The Photography Club is an offer for any OsloMet employee interested in photography. Beginner and intermediate courses are held in photography and Photoshop Elements.

    The Photography Club is currently in need of a new board to be able to provide more photography courses this autumn. Do you want to join? Please contact us.
