When do confidentiality requirements come into effect?
Employees and students who contribute to research projects, carry out administrative tasks or otherwise come into contact with confidential information relating to personal matters, technical data, commercial matters, drawings, formulas, etc. are subject to confidentiality requirements. Breach of confidentiality requirements may result in penalties, liability for damages, disciplinary sanctions, etc.

Various non-disclosure agreements
- General non-disclosure agreement for employees and consultants (doc, in Norwegian). It also includes the provisions set out in Section 13 e, first paragraph no. 1 to 3 of the Norwegian Public Administration Act, which are special provisions aimed at researchers.
- General non-disclosure agreement for students (also includes the provisions set out in Section 13 e, first paragraph, no. 1 to 3 of the Norwegian Public Administration Act, which are aimed at research).
- Supplementary non-disclosure agreement for employees and students in research (doc, in Norwegian). This NDA is relevant if you have not previously signed an NDA covering Section 13 e of the Norwegian Public Administration Act and/or if the research project is covered by the Norwegian Health Research Act.

Declaration of confidentiality for employees (.doc, in Norwegian) or declaration for confidentiality for students (doc, in Norwegian) for cases in which OsloMet enters into cooperation agreements with other organisations and/or institutions and such declarations are required under the agreement.
The project manager in a research project or other project or the head of unit is responsible for signing, collecting and archiving the agreement.
