OsloMet Academy

OsloMet Academy will offer competence and career development initiatives to all employees at OsloMet. Specific courses and programs will be made available for managers, lecturers, researchers and administrative staff across the organization. The academy’s role is to give you the opportunity to develop your knowledge, skills and abilities in order to adapt to the current and future tasks and requirements at work.

This course explores some of the key multidisciplinary databases and a selection of subject-specific databases of relevance to the participants. You will be introduced to some basic search techniques that may be used in most databases.
