Purpose of the international mobility grant
The purpose of the international mobility grant is to support research activities abroad that raise the quality of the doctoral project, help to establish and further develop collaboration with international research communities, and are of value to the candidate’s dissertation work.
-
Selection of host institution
The host institution and relevant research environment must be selected in consultation with your supervisor. The need for a stay abroad will normally be tied to academic development through research activities at a leading research environment abroad. You should, at an early stage, check whether there are active exchange agreements between OsloMet and the host institution. Some institutions charge tuition fees, which in many cases will be waived if an exchange agreement is in place.

The grant covers stays abroad lasting a minimum of one month and a maximum of three months. Longer stays are possible, but must be funded through your own or other sources.
