New agreement on credit cards

From 1 January 2026, OsloMet has an agreement on employee credit cards with SEB Kort. The card is called AirPlus, previously Eurocard. Employees applying for the card will not be subject to a credit check, and the card’s credit will not appear in the national debt register. The financial and legal responsibility lies with the institution.

Invoice, expenses and travel insurance

The invoice for the credit card will be sent to you as an employee, and you are responsible for paying the invoice by the due date. It is therefore beneficial to submit your travel claim quickly in order to have your expenses reimbursed.

With a separate corporate card, it becomes easier to distinguish between private and work-related expenses. Credit card transactions are transferred to the SAP portal, which makes it easier to complete the travel claim and apply for expense reimbursement.

If the trip is paid with the credit card, you are also covered by a comprehensive travel insurance policy.

Deferred payment of airline tickets

Flights paid with the credit card are invoiced only after departure. This means that you can book your flights well in advance. The cost of airline tickets will in most cases appear together with the other expenses from the same trip.
AirPlus charges a fee for this, which will be listed on your travel claim in the same way as the flight cost.

Payments made with the credit card will be shown with the correct exchange rate in the card system overview.

With the new credit card, all places where the card is stored as a payment method must be updated — for example with the travel agency, in car rental apps, hotel apps and similar services.
