Archive Inspection at OsloMet

The National Archives of Norway (Arkivverket) has announced an inspection at OsloMet on September 11.

The purpose of this inspection is to verify that the archival practices at OsloMet comply with the Archive Act and related regulations. Participants in the inspection will include the university’s rector, IT director, archive manager, and relevant experts.

Part of a broader effort in 2024

Arkivverket will conduct inspections at 54 public institutions. The prioritized areas for inspection are the university and college sector as well as the healthcare sector. These inspections are part of a larger effort aimed at identifying any deviations and improving archival quality within these organizations.
