Two Erasmus+ Teacher Academies applications granted

These are the first Teacher Academies projects in which OsloMet participates as a partner.

“Teacher Academies is an initiative during the current Erasmus+ period. There has only been one announcement previously. The call should contribute to building European platforms or centers to elevate the teaching profession. This is through various projects where teacher education in a lifelong perspective is central”, says Lise Bakke Brøndbo, Institutional Erasmus + Coordinator at OsloMet.

Digitalisation, green Europe, inclusion and strengthening of democratic values are among the priorities within the call for proposals. In the first call, 11 out of 56 applications received funding. This time, 16 applications have received funding.

Two projects at OsloMet

“By participating in these two projects, OsloMet is well involved in contributing to the goal of Norwegian participation in five Teacher Academies in accordance with the Strategy for Norway's participation in Erasmus+ and the European Education Area (regjeringen.no)”, says Bakke Brøndbo.

 “Congratulations with the granted applications!”
