New Chief Security Officer

Stian Rabe becomes the new Chief Security Officer at OsloMet.

Rabe comes from the position of senior advisor in security at Norges Bank. He has extensive experience from the police, as well as NATO and Royal Police Escort service.

Rabe begins at OsloMet on September 1.

"We are pleased to have Stian Rabe join our team. He has long and wide work experience in the security sector. In addition, Rabe has relevant education and personal qualities that are important in the position of Chief Security Officer," says Director of Division Organization and Infrastructure, Vigdis By Kampenes.

The Chief Security Officer has the overall professional responsibility for security at OsloMet, and coordinates the subject responsible for the various security areas at the university.

Rabe takes over after Kine Bylterud, who has held the role temporarily since August last year.
