Agreement with Wiley in place for 2026
OsloMet can once again publish and read in Wiley's journals.
Sikt and Wiley were unable to negotiate a publishing agreement for 2025. Recently, Sikt announced that the negotiations for 2026 were successful. OsloMet will adhere to the 2026 agreement with Wiley.
Sikt negotiates the Publish-and-Read Agreements with academic publishers on behalf of the consortia members, where OsloMet is included. Negotiations between Sikt and Wiley for a 2026 agreement were recently concluded.
The Wiley agreement covers APC in the publisher’s hybrid journals. The agreement includes an article quota, which is shared among the adhering institutions. A 15 % discount on APC is provided for publishing in fully open journals. The agreement also ensures reading access to Wiley content from 2026.
