Guidelines for (Wordpress)

The platform uses WordPress as CMS (publishing system). This is a simple publishing system that most people learn quickly. It is also possible to add external publishers. Unlike, and, all employees can have access to publish on Since many are familiar with WordPress, training is not mandatory.

Content requirements on 

Each project site on shall have at least one responsible administrator who is responsible for user access, security and content for the project site. 

  • The project site must be accessible for all.
  • All content (text, image, video and audio) must comply with copyright law.
  • Project pages must comply with the Privacy Act (also known as the GDPR). cannot be used as an archive. Finished projects that no longer update their site must either document that the sites are being maintained or plan to end the site and find another place to archive.

Design (theme) 

In WordPress you have access to an OsloMet theme and three other WordPress themes. It is not possible to access CSS or make other changes to installed themes. It is not possible to add themes other than those already installed. 

Extensions (plugins) 

It is not possible to install plugins on the various project pages.
