Target group
The primary target group for the course are employees at OsloMet with a first language other than Norwegian. The course is also open for the employee’s partner. B1, part 2 is intended for those who have completed and approved of the B1, part 1 course, or have acquired equivalent skills in other ways
About the course
The course focuses on Norwegian at an intermediate level, orally and written. Knowledge about the Norwegian culture and society will also be emphasized. The teacher will provide information about necessary textbooks.
Course dates
Teaching is offered Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10:30 to 12:15. First lesson is Tuesday, October 27, 2026, and the course ends December 18.

Learning outcomes
Norwegian language, written and oral, at level B1. The course corresponds to the Common European Framework of Reference of Languages descriptions of B1-level language competencies (coe.int).
Admission requirements
Participants must have passed the Norwegian test on level A2 and completed B1 part 1 to get admission.
