Wireless network

Download the eduroam profile with a certificate without being connected to a WiFi network on your phone:

1. Connect to the wireless guest network "OsloMet Guest" via the guest portal (uninett.no).

2. Choose "If you need to setup your client for eduroam click here" in your browser. 

3. Select the correct institution (OsloMet) and operating system.

4. When you are on campus: Connect your device to the WiFi network "eduroam".

Choose "eduroam" from the list over available Wifi networks. 

Log in ID

• Username: username@oslomet.no

• Password: Your OsloMet password

Android

1. Download the app "geteduroam" from Google Play.

2. Choose OsloMet from the listed institutions.

3. Log in using your OsloMet email address (username@oslomet.no) and your OsloMet password.

Android (manual setup)

• EAP-method: PEAP
• Fase 2-authentication: MSCHAPV2
• CA-certificate: System certificate
• Certificate status: Do not approve
• Domene: radius.oslomet.no
• Identity: username@oslomet.no
• Password: OsloMet password

iPhone/iPad

• Download the eduroam profile for Apple iOS mobile devices and install the profile on your device (eduroam.no).

  • NB! Click "Choose another installer to download" if the installation shown is for the wrong device.

• Accept the certificate.

• Username: username@oslomet.no

• Password: Your OsloMet password.

Use the wireless guest network "OsloMetGuest" on your device.

The wireless guest network "OsloMet Guest" is only for visitors who do not have a user account on OsloMet.

If you already have a OsloMet username or if you are a visitor/guest from another educational institution, please log in to the wireless network "eduroam".

• The guest account is valid for 12 hours and can be used on up to three devices.

• The service costs NOK 2, -.

Participants at courses or conferences at OsloMet can use a wireless guest account. 

There are two types of guest wifi - "OsloMet Guest":

1. "OsloMet Guest": self service via an SMS service (2 NOK)

2. Order a guest account for larger courses or conferences - send the order at least one week before the event begins. Order guest accounts at itservicedesk@oslomet.no.

Eduroam is available at most Avinor airports with a connection to a University or University College.

Students and employees at OsloMet can therefore use the WiFi on Norwegian airports when travelling.
