New framework agreement for legal services
OsloMet has entered into a new framework agreement for legal services with the law firm Hjort.
The framework agreement is valid from 19 February. It covers assistance in legal expertise across most areas of Norwegian law, as well as support when there is a need to clarify foreign law.
Here is an overview of the most relevant subject areas included in the framework agreement:
- Data protection/GDPR
- Contract law
- Administrative law and freedom of information law
- Construction law
- Public procurement
- Commercial property/property law
- EEA law
- ICT law
- Tort law
- Tax law

Legal services are ordered via My Orders.
Before an order is placed in My Orders, an offer must be obtained or the need must be clarified with the supplier. The offer or agreed price/agreed use of lawyer category must be entered in My Orders.
The agreement also allows for short questions and advice by telephone.
If you experience problems submitting requests via My Orders, you may contact your purchaser directly.
Please note that this agreement does not cover legal services within HR or research and development (R&D). Separate agreements apply for these areas.
