OsloMet launches a PhD in innovation for sustainability
The University Board decided on 15 September to establish a new doctoral program in innovation for sustainability. “A spearhead in competence development for the green shift,” states Rector Christen Krogh.
The PhD Innovation for sustainability will start in 2023. The programme is project- and practice-oriented and aims to find realizable solutions that can contribute to the green shift.
The Faculty of Technology, Art and Design has created this programme in collaboration with the research institutes at OsloMet.

“This will be an interdisciplinary sustainability programme where candidates from different backgrounds meet to collaborate, which is very useful both in a Norwegian and international context,” explains Krogh.
