  • Privacy policy for the game

SKILLS is one of the training programmes offered by sikresiden.no.

This privacy policy describes how sikresiden.no processes your personal data in connection with your access to SKILLS.

    What data is collected?

We collect the following data about you: name, email address, telephone number, place of study/organisation, unit and IP address. We log the modules you have played and the points you achieved. We log gaming patterns for statistical purposes and we use cookies.

    Purpose

We collect data in order to provide you with access to the game and to allow your manager/teacher to monitor the extent to which you have completed the game. Your name or a fictitious name will be displayed on a leaderboard so that those with access to the game can see who on the list of people has the highest scores. This is necessary in cases in which the place of study/organisation wishes to reward a winner. Data concerning gaming patterns and results is also used for statistical purposes at an aggregated level.

    Legal basis

The legal basis is Article 6(1) f of the General Data Protection Regulation, “legitimate interest”. Your place of study/organisation is interested in using the game as part of its training on data protection and privacy so that students and employees are equipped to comply with the personal data protection regulations applicable at any time. The personal data we collect is not considered sensitive. In order to encourage as many people as possible to play the game, anyone with access to the game will be able to see the names of the people with the highest scores. Directly identifiable personal data may therefore emerge. This could entail a privacy disadvantage. However, it is possible to use fictitious names so that not everyone can work out who the score relates to. The privacy disadvantage for you as a student/employee is therefore considered to be minimal.

    Where is data collected from?

Data can be collected in two different ways:

    1. You provide your contact details when you register to access the game.
    2. A representative from your organisation obtains data from internal systems.

How do we protect your data?

Sikresiden.no stores personal data with Attensi. The data will be kept for as long as you are registered as an active player. Contact persons for game implementation at the organisation where you work/study may have access to data about the modules you have completed and the number of points you have scored. Sikresiden.no and Attensi employees that work on the administration and operation of SKILLS have access to the data we collect.

    Rights

    1. You have the right to know how your personal data is used, including:
    2. The right to object to the processing of your data.
    3. The right to request the deletion or restricted future processing of your data.
    4. The right to request a copy of the data we hold about you.
    5. The right to receive information about how your data may be processed and to request access to the data registered about you in SKILLS.
    6. The right to request correction of your data.
    7. The right to complain about processing. Please contact your organisation in order to exercise your rights.

    Contact us

If you have any questions about this policy or you want to exercise your rights as mentioned above, please contact us via email at post@sikresiden.no.

The organisations that administer sikresiden.no and the organisations that use sikresiden.no have dedicated data protection officers who can be contacted in the event of any questions.
