Order a guest account
The guest account provides access to login on OsloMet PC's, the wireless network / eduroam and a home directory.

Guest account for longer stays
Order a guest account – valid up to 1 month (service-now.com).
Precondition

Only a OsloMet employee can order a guest account.

The employee is responsible for the activities of the person or the persons who are given access to the network.
Log in to eduroam (Wi-Fi)
Log in to the wireless network "eduroam" with the assigned username "Username@oslomet.no" and the assigned password.
Example of a username: anon-14800@oslomet.no
Note: Anyone who needs access to the wireless network have to enter "@ oslomet.no" after the username. The user account / guest account will then be approved / authenticated.

Wi-Fi access for up to 12 hours
Use the wireless guest network "OsloMetGuest" on your device.
The wireless guest network "OsloMet Guest" is only for visitors who do not have a user account on OsloMet.
If you already have a OsloMet username or if you are a visitor/guest from another educational institution, please log in to the wireless network "eduroam".

The guest account is valid for 12 hours and can be used on up to three devices.

Guest account for short stays (maximum 7 days)
Persons staying at OsloMet for a short period of time can be given a temporary guest account. This account gives access to eduroam and login to OsloMet PCs.
Use of temporary guest account (up to 7 days) can be given to course participants and others that do not have an official role at OsloMet. The one who orders the account is responsible if any accounts are misused. You must justify the need for the guest account.
Guest lecturers and others with an official role at OsloMet must order guest account through our regular guest solution (service-now.com).
