Order a guest account
There are different solutions for guest accounts depending on the duration of the guest relationship and the need for access to OsloMet systems. Please note that guest account requests only apply to unpaid guests.

Request a guest account for guests staying up to one year
For approved, long-term guests, the following access is granted:
- Log in to OsloMet PCs
- IT account with an OsloMet email address
- Access card
- Access to the wireless network
The process for requesters, approvers, and guests is described in the points below. Note: A guest account beyond seven days can only be requested for up to one year from the registration date.
Apply for a guest account for more than seven days and up to one year.

Wi-Fi access for up to 12 hours
Use the wireless guest network "OsloMetGuest" on your device.
The wireless guest network "OsloMet Guest" is only for visitors who do not have a user account on OsloMet.
If you already have a OsloMet username or if you are a visitor/guest from another educational institution, please log in to the wireless network "eduroam".
- The guest account is valid for 12 hours and can be used on up to three devices.

Guest account for short stays (maximum 7 days)
Persons staying at OsloMet for a short period of time can be given a temporary guest account. This account gives access to eduroam and login to OsloMet PCs.
Use of temporary guest account (up to 7 days) can be given to course participants and others that do not have an official role at OsloMet. The one who orders the account is responsible if any accounts are misused. You must justify the need for the guest account.
