OsloMet offers a wide range of activities and courses aimed at strengthening our research advisors' ability to compete for external funding. The offerings cover the entire process, from mobilizing and positioning academic environments to supporting proposal development and project implementation. The BOA Network – For Research Advisors
The BOA Network is OsloMet’s internal forum for research advisors. Here, we share experiences and reflect on support for external funding. The network organizes two annual gatherings:

Autumn Gathering: A full-day event with lectures and group work

Internal competence development
We offer a structured training program for research advisors. The training program provides a foundation for a shared understanding of the role of a research advisor at OsloMet. The course is divided into two levels: Basic Competence and Specialization:
Basic Competence Modules 1.1–1.6: Provides a shared understanding and fundamental knowledge. Each module lasts approximately 2 hours, and the entire competence track is completed within one year. The program starts in the fall of 2025 and is conducted annually.
