Target group
The primary target group for the course are employees at OsloMet with a first language other than Norwegian, and who want to prepare for the Norwegian test “norskprøven” (hkdir.no). If places are available, partners may also be admitted.
About the course
The course focuses on basic Norwegian, orally and written, and is thematically related to the workday as an academic at OsloMet. Knowledge about the Norwegian society will also be emphasized. The course follows the textbook and workbook På vei (2018) (cappelendammundervisning.no). The participants are expected to bring these books to all classes.
Course dates
Classes will be taught on Mondays and Thursdays week 36-49, from 10:30-12:15. Room will be announced later. The first course date is Monday, September 2, and the last day is Monday December 2.
Learning outcomes
Norwegian language, spoken and written, at A2-level. The course corresponds to the Common European Framework of Reference of Languages descriptions of A2-level language competencies (coe.int).
