EndNote
EndNote is a program that helps you take care of and organize literature references that you later can place as citations and literature lists in Word documents.

How to install EndNote
Before you begin, the following requirements must be met:
- Connect to VPN if you're off campus
- / If not on campus, the computer must be connected to the OsloMet network using a VPN connection
- Close all Microsoft Office applications (including Outlook) and OpenOffice, i.e., all office support tools.
- Uninstall any older versions of EndNote.
Install EndNote
NB! It is important that you follow the instructions carefully. If you make a mistake, you will need to reinstall the program.

Download the program you want in the correct version.

Extract the zip file before installation.

The license file and the installation file must be in the same folder.

If you are asked about the license during installation, you have not extracted the files correctly.

Start the installation file, select: Install – when the installation menu appears.

You are given three different options for specifying the license type. Select: Network License.

Click next until you are prompted to enter the License Manager name or Server IP Address.

Enter: LS.ada.hioa.no in the field.

Click: Set.

Then click: Next – until the installation is complete.
