No strike at OsloMet
All parties have reached an agreement with the state in the wage settlement after extended mediation on 29 May. Therefore, there will be no strike.
Status as of 29 May at 13:00: All parties have reached an agreement with the state in the wage settlement.
There was a breakdown in negotiations between the state and the main confederations Akademikerne, LO Stat, Unio and YS Stat in this year’s wage settlement. The settlement went to mediation with the National Mediator, with a deadline at midnight on 28 May, but negotiations continued into overtime on 29 May.
At OsloMet, it had been announced that 114 employees would be taken out on strike if the mediation did not succeed:
- 99 employees organised in YS
- 14 employees organised in Unio
- 1 employee organised in Akademikerne
A potential strike could have affected the conduct of certain exams, as well as IT and property services at OsloMet.
