What is cache?

When you visit web pages, some information – including info you have entered into forms, passwords, and sites you have visited – is stored in the browser's history in order to display web pages faster on later visits. Cache is the temporary file storage in your browser and it contains old versions of webpages you have visited to help them open faster during your next visit.

Although the file storage will make it faster for your browser to load content on web pages you visit, it can also cause some problems. To solve the problems, you have to clear the browser history data (empty the cache).

Why do I have to clear cache from the browser?

When you use a browser, it saves some information from websites in its cache and cookies. Clearing them fixes certain problems, like loading or formatting issues on sites. When clearing the web site data, you must open the browser once again.
