Writing applications

DIGIN helps you to align the key factors in the project with the application requirements.

  • Current funds

    Diku

Diku (the Directorate for Internationalization and Quality Development in Higher Education) announces up to NOK 40 million for projects that will develop, test, evaluate and use student active forms of learning and learning-promoting forms of assessment. The call is open to all subject areas and is aimed at projects that include entire study programs or larger subject groups.

  • Tips for applications

    Strategy

Anchor the project in OsloMet's Strategy (oslomet.no)

    Collaboration across

The project must solve major problems and be of a certain size, and the applications must often be approved by OsloMet's top management. Therefore, look for partners across individual topics (Diku).

    Quality of education

Digital instruments must be justified with significance for educational quality.

    Change

Look at how digitization can help change teaching, learning and assessment. Does this create opportunities for new forms of learning and assessment?

    Student involvement

Feel free to involve students to gain experience and create meta-reflections on the learning process. Also consider whether students can contribute as labor.

Subjects, pedagogy, learning design and digitization

Assess wholeness and coherence when it comes to academic, pedagogical, digital and administrative challenges in learning design.

    Active learning

Prove that the project will strengthen the knowledge of what characterizes good and less good student-active learning methods.

Competence development at OsloMet and nationally

How does the project contribute to strengthening OsloMet's educational competence across disciplines? What can others learn?

    Time

It takes time to write good applications. Start well in advance of the application deadline.
