Who does what?

An overview of who does what relating to internationalisation in Department of Academic Affairs.
  • Our responsibilities

When it comes to internationalisation, the main responsibility of Department of Academic Affairs is to facilitate international cooperation within education at the faculties. This includes information and advisory functions, in addition to development and technical operation of systems for student exchange (incoming and outgoing) and staff exchange. Some examples of the latter systems are the application portal for outgoing students (Søknadsweb), nomination and application process for incoming students and APN (overview of exchange opportunities for outgoing students).

The department is also responsible for coordinating international cooperation agreements and programmes that are common for all faculties at OsloMet. This includes the Erasmus+ programme and Norway's education and research cooperation with Brazil, China, India, Japan, Russia and South Africa.
