Become proficient in learning design

Effective learning pathways require a connection between descriptions of learning outcomes, learning and assessment forms. DIGIN guides academic communities in learning design, both with and without digital tools.

The purpose of learning design is to create coherence and continuity in students' learning pathways by highlighting the connections between the subject matter and the learning outcomes. This is done by analyzing and breaking down the student's learning work into smaller parts. In addition, learning design encompasses the entire student learning work before, during, and after different learning situations.

  • DIGIN as a guide and sparring partner

    • How are the descriptions of learning outcomes in the subject consistent with learning activities and the form of assessment in the subject?
    • How to plan, map, and analyze learning in teaching?
    • How to design learning objectives in context with work forms and organization of teaching for the students' needs in a lesson or a series of lessons?
    • In the development of a learning design, it can be useful to visualize what you are thinking and discussing with your colleagues. It's important to spend time planning learning situations and activities, and have time to reflect on whether the purpose was achieved.

Contact DIGIN if you need assistance in creating a good learning design!
